HOOK: Mustad 34007 sizes 6 to 3/0
THREAD: Color to match 6/0
EYES: Dumbell size to match hook
WINGS: Buck tail colors to match local minnows one clump tied on top of hook and one clump on bottom of hook
FLASH: 8 to 10 strands of krystal flash color to match wing
HEAD: Black Thread wrapped around dumbell eyes
This is a good all purpose sub surface pattern for many of different situations. I always have a few of these guys handy when I'm heading out for the day.
I tie them to match my local minnows in the water that I will be fishing on the trip I'm taking.
