Here is the pattern for November 2009 through Febuary 2010, The Blood Midge. A good all purpose midge pattern for selective trout during our cold fall and winter months. I like fishing them on a dead drift through riffles into pools and eddies. The midge pettern can be ties in different colors to match the local midges, another good color combo is black with white rib also known as a zebra midge.
