The Blood midge
Here is the pattern for March 2010, The BWO. A good all early mayfly pattern for selective trout during our spring through summer months. I like fishing them on a dead drift through pools and eddies. The BWO pattern can be tied in different styles and shades to fit any anglers needs to fool trout.

BODY: Olive Dubbing
TAIL: Olive Dun Hackle fibers
